Those were the days 그것들이 그 날들이었다? 그 때가 좋았다는 말입니다. 문법적으로 설명은 못하겠지만 어쨌든 영어에서는 이렇게들 쓰더라구요. Those were the times 로 쓰기도 합니다. 참고로 one of those days 라는 표현도 있는데 재수없는 날을 말합니다.
